Mojo Jojo Beat Up

About
“Mojo Jojo Beat Up”, also called Mojo Jojo Jumped, is a reaction image from The Powerpuff Girls showing the villain Mojo Jojo crumpled on the floor after a beating, with his brain hanging out of his helmet and his teeth knocked out. People caption it to describe anything that got completely wrecked, from a nerfed video game build to a bank account. It's been around since the mid-2010s and turns up on Twitter / X, Reddit, TikTok and Imgflip.
Origin
The frame comes from "Candy Is Dandy," season 3 episode 14 of The Powerpuff Girls, which aired on November 10th, 2000. The girls storm the jail to confront Mojo over the Mayor's stolen candy and beat him until he's lying in pieces on the ground. A clip of the scene titled "Mojo getting destroyed" was posted to YouTube on June 17th, 2014.
On February 18th, 2015, DeviantArt user ultrajohn567 posted the still with the text "Oh my God. Mojo didn't deserve that," one of the earliest known captioned versions. It kept circulating after that. In 2020 Redditor uhhsamurai used it for "Mojo Jojo stay getting beat," and in 2022 a TikTok of the jail scene captioned "Starting to think Mojo Jojo wasn't the villain" started a debate over whether the girls went too far.
Meaning
The caption names a person or thing, and Mojo shows what's left of it afterward. Gamers use it for characters after a balance patch, and everyone else uses it for themselves after a workout, a bad week or a big spending weekend.
There's also a running joke about how brutal the original scene was for a kids' cartoon. Plenty of posts just point out that the Powerpuff Girls really didn't hold back.
