“Brooke Flecca Surprised With Margarita”, also called Shocked Girl With Margarita, is a reaction image of New York DJ Brooke Flecca (known online as bdgrlbklyn) sitting at an outdoor table at night, margarita in hand, glancing sideways with her mouth half open. People put a quoted line of dialogue above the photo, usually a question, so it looks like she's reacting to something a guy just told her. It spread on X / Twitter and Instagram in fall 2025.
Origin
On September 22nd, 2025, X user @coldcallsniper posted the photo with the caption "He drank how many beers last night?" It's the earliest known example, and it picked up over 5,700 likes in about two months. Where the photo itself came from isn't clear.
Two days later, Instagram account bangerbuddy reposted the joke as an image macro and got over 36,000 likes. Other versions followed within weeks: @eastvillageguy's "Your parlay has how many legs?", totalfratmove's post about blacking out after too many beers, which passed 117,000 likes, and a throwingfits caption about a jacket with "HOW many pockets."
In November 2025, @dadondesmond tied the image to the Gales of November meme with "You drank how many beers in honor of a ship that sunk 50 years ago?", which got 34,000 likes in two days.
Meaning
The joke is mock amazement. The caption is written as her reply to a guy's brag, repeating the thing back like she can't believe it, and the look on her face says she's either impressed or trying hard to seem it. Most captions follow the template "You did how many X?" or "Wait, you...?"
Usually the target is some very specific kind of guy flex: beer counts, sports betting parlays, golf rounds, obscure programming languages, bar connections. The meme pokes fun at the brag and at the idea that anyone would be wowed by it.
