The jokes started on June 1st. X user @willdefries posted an early version about the aftermath of a bad night out and got more than 15,000 likes in two days. On June 2nd, @netcapgirl used the photo for the dread of going back to work on Monday, which passed 46,000 likes in a day. The picture also landed on /r/poker, where commenters argued about why Woods looked so worn out and guessed at what he was thinking.
Meaning
