Two Buff Men Beating up A Rectangle

About
An original webcomic by artist MadeByTio served as the inspiration for the viral object-labeling meme known as “Two Buff Men Beating up A Rectangle.” The anthropomorphic green rectangle makes a statement in the first panel of the four-panel meme, following which two strong guys in red and pink laugh at him and beat him up in the subsequent panels.
The initial picture, which depicted the rectangle as a "ad blocker" and the buff cartoons as "advertisements," was uploaded to the internet in March 2021. Shortly thereafter, it began to circulate online in the form of memes.
Origin
On March 4, 2021, the artist MadeByTio submitted an original cartoon to the subreddit /r/funny featuring two advertisements beating up an advertisement blocker. The comic received over 5,000 upvotes in a little over a year after it was posted (seen below). The artist also published the comic on Instagram, where it quickly racked up more than 24,000 likes within a comparable amount of time.
On March 25, 2021 a user named This-Wrongdoer-1858 was the one who originally modified the image and submitted it to Reddit in the /r/dankmemes subreddit. Since then, it has received more than 63,000 upvotes and has been there for more than a year. On the same day, an updated version of the meme was posted on the image hosting website Imgur.
Meaning
This meme shows comedic situations that occur when a naive and optimistic person or object is confronted with real life challenges. For instance, when Ad Blocker comes into contact with YouTube's first and second ads, or when a new player who is looking for some fun from tiny challenges starts playing hard-core games like Dark Souls and Sekiro.
